Dr. SID Blasts The NET For Scoring D’Prince’s Album Low Marks

Doctor-turned-artiste, Sidney Esiri, more popular with his stage name, Dr. SID, has lashed out at media site, The NET, for scoring D’Prince’s new album, ‘Frenzy’, 3/5. In its report, they had written: “Frenzy partially lives up to its name, as it boasts of songs that fuel your party rage. It just doesn’t take you through the whole night as it runs out of ideas and gets low on creative fuel. You may have one hell of a ride bumping this album, but you’ll be left with a nasty hangover the morning after, wondering where the plot was lost”.
But Dr. SID would have none of it, as he resolutely defended his label mate on Twitter. “You must be stupid to give D’Prince’s #FRENZY album a 3. I begin to wonder what gives you the right to review an album. Obvious bias,” he tweeted.
“Abi dem pay you money to knock the hardworking boy down?” he asked. “Give credit where it is due. D’Prince made a banging album, end of story.”
The album is D’Prince’s debut album, and the second to be released under Mavins Records. It contains songs like Call Police, Amina, Good Bag, Painting the Town, etc. See tweets below
