Today is the birthday of popular actress, Moyo Lawal. She is from Badagry in Lagos State. She attended Tomobid Primary School in Lagos for her primary school education. She attended Lagos State Model College for her secondary school education. She attended the Universty of Lagos, where she studied Creative Arts.
She started her acting career on the soap opera, Shallow Waters, and she has since featured in several soap operas and movies. Some of her movies are Holding Hope, Scarlet Woman, Midnight Murder, and Strippers.
Also today is the birthday of popular actress, Mercy Aigbe. She is best known for her brilliant character portrayals in Yoruba language movies. She is from Edo State (Nigeria), and she is the second child in a family of five. She holds a degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Lagos.
Some movies, which she has starred in include Hajia Jemila, Igberaga (Pride), Ihamo (Caged), Ìpèsè (Provision),Iró funfun (White Lie), Mafisere (Don’t Toy With It), Afefe Ife (The Wind of Love), Okanjua (Undue Haste).
