Kokomaster D’Banj hasn’t let his split from Mo’Hits slow him down this year. Following the worst split in Nigerian music history with Don Jazzy, The G.O.O.D Music signee has gone and landed himself a Top 5 hit in the UK with Oliver Twist and yesterday it was announced he had bagged 4 nominations at the 2012 World Music Awards.
Dapo was nominated in the following categories: World’s Best Song (Oliver Twist), World’s Best Male Artist, World’s Best Video (Oliver Twist) and Best African Act.
The awards which honor the World’s Best-Selling Recording-Artists as chosen by fans, are set to go down on the 20th Dec in Miami, Florida with Rihanna leading this year with 8 nominations, followed by Justin Bieber & Adele who both have 7. So with 4 D’Banj isn’t doing badly at all…OOOOOSHEY!
