News Update:Conflicting Reports Over Governor Sullivan Chime





Multiple sources had earlier confirmed that the executive governor of the state, Sullivan Chime, was feared dead on Saturday. Reports have it that the governor, whose absence from the state has fueled speculations in the last few weeks, might have passed on at an Indian hospital after battling an undisclosed ailment.
However, facts emerging from sources close to the governor are that he's alive. They admit that Governor Chime is sick but insisted that he's still alive and responding to treatment.
Meanwhile, a correspondent with the Punch, Ozioma Ubabukoh, who tried to get official confirmation of the truth state of the Governor was harassed by seven men who claimed to be security agents in front of his apartment in Enugu around 11.45pm on Saturday.
The men seized Ubabukoh’s phone and his laptop in order to stop him from sending stories to the head office. They followed the journalist, Ubabukoh to his apartment and insisted that they won't leaving until 3am so he wouldn't send the story to their head office in Lagos.
