News Update: Hulk Hogan goes to court over sex tape

Hogan

Former pro wrestler, Terry Bollea, otherwise known as Hulk Hogan has sued his ex-best friend, Bubba Clem, a disc jockey and a gossip website after a sex tape involving him and his ex-best friend’s ex-wife, Heather.
In the two lawsuits, Hogan reiterated that whatever he did with Heather was consensual and with the knowledge of his best friend at their home while he was still married to his wife, Linda but that he did not know he was being secretly recorded. The video was posted on the online by gossip site, Gawker. Hogan is seeking $100 million in damages from the New York-based media company. It’s unclear who gave the video to Gawker.
In the suit against Bubba and the gossip site, Hogan claimed the video has caused him severe and irreparable injury which cannot be adequately compensated by monetary damages and is therefore seeking the rights to the video in both lawsuits.
The Clemses have since divorced just as Hogan and his wife, Linda has since gone their separate ways even though his wife, Linda, their son and daughter appear from time to time on his reality show, Hogan Knows Best. Hogan was the best man at the Clemses’ wedding and he is also a godfather to their child. Bubba on his part has repeatedly denied knowledge of the release of the tape. He is equally anxious to know who did it and for the person to be held accountable. Lawyers unanimously agreed that it is illegal in Florida to record someone without their permission, but that Hogan waited too long to file criminal charges.
