Kemi Adetiba
In the post, the magazine alleged that Adetiba was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission after receiving N15m belonging to a church in Gbagada, Lagos, being payment for some productions.
The report also claimed that she had to beg the officials of the commission to allow her host the show (Maltina DanceHall Season 6), promising she will sort out the debt as soon as she it ended.
When contacted, Adetiba said, “There is ‘no truth in the story’ and that the article was made to ‘to tarnish my reputation. I want to say most emphatically that there is no truth in the story.”
Adetiba, a former presenter at Rhythm 93.7FM and current host of family reality dance show, Maltina DanceHall, is putting finishing touches to her TV talk show, Kemi Adetiba Diaries.
