News Update: Wounded Female Artiste, Tiwa Banks Recovers

Tiwa Banks Nigerian female artiste, Tiwa Banks, who was allegedly stabbed by her landlord's son, Tobi Obadina, is now back on her feet. The singer sent a blackberry broadcast today to announce this. She also thanked her fans and everyone that stood by her during her trying days. Her unedited blackberry broadcast reads, "This is to wish u a happy new year once again and also 2 thank and inform my loved ones that am back on my feet... "Will Smith once said "it takes a good fall 2 know where we stand" and I mst admit I realized that i am standing with the right and best people in world! tnx to y'all 4 clothing me wen I ws nude... An update on the court case indicated that Tobi has been charged to court and may be prosecuted soon if found guilty of the charge brought against him. In December 2012, Tiwa was allegedly stabbed at her apartment by Tobi over a misunderstanding they had during the day.
